KemRisk can generate your Safety Data Sheet (MSDSs) according to the current European legislation (REACH, CLP etc.). These laws contain several thousands of pages with juridical texts. With KemRisk you need not to know anything about them. On the other side, you are an expert with respect to the commercial aspects of your products.
In KemRisk both these important aspects meet. Just tell KemRisk honestly the exact composition of your product and the program tells you what is necessary to publish in the MSDS and what you are allowed to hide, e.g. for commercial reasons.
In order to calculate the correct classification and labelling of a product you need to tell KemRisk a lot of facts that may be trade secrets. Is there any risk that this will leak to your competitors? No! We employ the same security system as your Internet bank and hence your secrets are as safe.
The legislative rules of MSDSs are included into KemRisk and, once you have honestly indicated the exact composition, the program suggests a concentration range for each component. It also knows if the law allows you to hide a certain component or not. By default nothing shall be hide but, if allowed, you can hide one or more components.
You can also change the name of an ingredient in order to avoid "bad" words. For example, the highly toxic poly-chlorinated dibenzodioxins are commonly abbreviated to "dioxin" in popular press, and an alternative name for non-toxic substances containing this word may be desirable.
