KemRisk® can produce labels in several formats. This applies both to product labels, transport labels and waste labels. For convenience, KemRisk contains a limited number of standard labels, but also a template generator, where you can develop your own design. At present you can make labels according to the old style (Council Directives 67/548/EEC and 1999/45/EC) or according to REACH and CLP (Regulations (EC) No 1907/2006 and 1272/2008) and in several languages.
Making templates need graphical skill and, if you don't want to make them yourself, we can do it as a service.
KemRisk contains the data and the algorithms necessary for stepping down the classification on dilution. So when you make a solution of a substance the label automatically includes the appropriate (if any) hazard statements and pictograms (for CLP) or R-phrases and symbols (for the old style).
A product may be distributed as a bulk but, in most cases they are contained in some kind of package. This, in turn, is often contained in another package, which is contained in a transport package and maybe some kind of overpack. Transport packages must be labelled according to ADR or RID (road or rail-road transport), IMDG (sea transport) or IATA (air transport), whereas the innermost package shall be labelled according to CLP.
These rules are included into KemRisk and the label elements are chosen according to the appropriate legislation.
All products eventually ends as waste, usually highly contaminated by products added during its use. KemRisk can also make labels for correct labelling of such waste.
